Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman End Five-Year Relationship

Los Angeles, April 9— The couple who first captured national attention on Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum have announced they are no longer together after nearly five years.

Abbey Romeo, 27, and David Isaacman, 31, met during the series’ inaugural season in 2022. Both are on the autism spectrum; David also experiences synesthesia. Their partnership, chronicled across three seasons, was celebrated as one of the show’s most hopeful stories.

Sources close to the pair say the split stemmed from a disagreement over marriage. While the couple had spoken publicly about future plans, they reportedly diverged on whether to formalize their union.

Friends describe the separation as amicable. “He’s doing very well,” an insider said of David. Abbey has not issued a personal statement.

The breakup arrives as the show heads into its fourth season, where the former couple appeared in a cameo at costars Madison Marilla and Tyler White’s engagement party.

The end of Abbey and David’s relationship underscores the ongoing challenges faced by neurodivergent adults navigating love and commitment in the public eye.
