At 1 p.m. ET on Friday, data from Datagolf.com placed the projected cut line at +4 over par, a figure supported by multiple live trackers. By mid‑afternoon the line briefly dipped to +3 before climbing back to +4 at 2:50 p.m.

Players on the Edge

Several marquee names found themselves in jeopardy. Bryson DeChambeau opened with a 4‑over 76, already outside the cut. Jon Rahm’s 6‑over 78 left him well behind the threshold, while Max MacIntyre’s 8‑over 80 put him five shots short as the second round began. Veteran champions Zach Johnson, Bubba Watson and Fred Couples were also listed among those at risk.

How the Cut Works

At Augusta National, the top 50 players and ties after the second round advance to the weekend. The projected +4 line means any competitor shooting higher than that score by the end of round two will miss the cut.
