Bruno Mars Gets His Own Street on the Strip
Parade, Street Renaming and Tour Launch
Las Vegas celebrated 16‑time Grammy winner Bruno Mars with a Friday‑night parade down the Strip and the official renaming of a stretch of Park Avenue to Bruno Mars Drive. The ceremony, organized by MGM Resorts International, ran past the Bellagio fountains, The Cosmopolitan and ARIA before ending at Toshiba Plaza beside the Park MGM casino.
The timing coincided with the kickoff of Mars’s “The Romantic Tour,” which opened that evening at Allegiant Stadium. In a surprise announcement, the singer pledged a $1 million donation to a local children’s hospital, adding a philanthropic note to the festivities.
The new address places Mars among a select group of entertainers—such as Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra—who have been immortalized on the iconic boulevard.
