Publix Easter Sunday Hours

Florida’s flagship grocery chain will not open its doors on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026. A company spokesperson confirmed that all Publix stores, including in‑store pharmacies and liquor outlets, will be closed for the holiday. Saturday, April 4, will see normal operating hours, giving shoppers a final chance to stock up before the long weekend.

The closure follows a long‑standing practice among many retailers in the state. While Publix shuts down, competitors such as Walmart, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Winn‑Dixie and Sprouts will remain open, providing alternatives for last‑minute Easter provisions.
