Carnival Sails New Adults‑Only Cruises on Firenze After Canceling 11 Trips
Carnival Cruise Line announced it will replace the 11 cancelled fall 2026 voyages on the Carnival Firenze with four exclusive adults‑only sailings. Departing from Long Beach between Oct. 12 and Nov. 20, the new itineraries fill the exact windows left vacant by the canceled trips.
The "Sailings Exclusively for Adults" program targets guests 21 and older and promises expanded casino time, specialty dining and other adult‑focused amenities. Carnival framed the move as a strategic pivot rather than a logistical slip, aiming to retain revenue and offer a differentiated product.
The four voyages will run in the same weeks the previous cruises were slated, suggesting the company is intent on preserving its West Coast schedule while reshaping the ship’s market positioning ahead of its 2027 East‑Coast deployment.
